The book presentation of “Love Wings” by Lusine Ghazaryan


    On January 20 in City Central Library after A. Isahakyan was the presentation of poetess and journalist Lusine Ghazaryan’s second book “Love Wings”. The poetry of the author guides the reader to many lofty flights into the sky of dreams. The ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, intellectuals, artists, war veterans and Frontier Soldiers Volunteer Union members and Etchmiadzin Mayor Karen Grigoryan. City Central Library director, Honored Worker of Culture of RA Hasmik Karapetyan greeted the audience and congratulated the author on the new book. Poet Khachik Manukyan who was also the editor of the book, presented the work. Etchmiadzin Mayor Karen Grigoryan also congratulated the author. Frontiers Volunteer Union coordinator Vardan Vardanyan handed Lusine Ghazaryan “Young Frontier Solder” medal and came up with a speech. His speech was followed by many others, among them ASALA veteran, "Van" operation commander Vazgen Sislyan, Echmiadzin Cathedral priest Father Mkrtich Karapetyan, literary critic Armen Avanesyan, writer and human rights activist Haykaz Makaryan, public figure Azat Arshakyan, writer Satenik Ghazaryan and others.
Honored Worker of Culture of RA Ramzar Sasuntsi, opera tenor Gevorg Hadjian, journalist Hasmik Balyan greeted the audience with their musical performances. Actress Gayane Samvelyan, journalist Zepyur Sardaryan and others read extracts from the author’s works.
Summing up the presentation the author thanked the administration of City Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan and everyone present.
