A meeting with Serbian writers


    On December 20, in the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan it took place a meeting with Serbian writers and Veselin Jeletovich's book's presentation titled "Yohan's Serbian heart".The book has been translated into Armeniain by poet, translator Anush Balayan. The event was attended by many readers, artists and guests.The deputy director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan Ruzanna Barseghyan welcomed the audience.Candidate of Philology Artsvi Bakhchinyan said that Armenian and Serbian people were similiar to each other both with past and with fate.Actress Gayane Samvelyan read Veselin Jeletovich's message: "Dear friends, I can not describe the feeling of happiness, which I feel in Armenia. I know that today I will tell about the suffering of Serbs to the nation who will understand us, who have been in it. A nation that knows what it means when the churches and monasteries are destructed ,when language and script are snatched".
Luca Yaskimovich is a member of the Union of Writers of Serbia.
Dragisa Gaborovich is a traveler, a lover of nature.He has been in Europe, Asia and Africa more than in twenty countries, including Armenia.
Luca Yoksimovich sang a song in Armenian language titled "Soldier's Song".Anush Balayan said that the concept of translation came out when I read Mkrtich Sargsyan's story titled " Ordinal class of Armenian".Artashes Ghazaryan thanked Isahakyan Library for organizing such an important event. At the end of the event, Serbian writers sang songs in Italian and French, as well as in native Serbian language.
