“Let’s recognize our motherland: from Hayk to Artsakh” Second Round


    Within the frames of the program dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia, on September 20 the second round of the competition “Let’s recognize our motherland – from Hayk to Artsakh” took place in the City Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan. The competition began with the greeting speech of Vazgen Sislyan, the veteran of the secret Armenian Army of the Liberation of Armenia and the Commander of “Van” operation. The following teams from headquarters of the City Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan were participating in the competition; “Generation of Independence” team of the headquarter N 29, “Kilikia” team of the headquarter N 27, “Arpi” team of the headquarter N 33, “Usmunq” team from the Department of Children’s Literature and “Vahagn” team from the Department of technical literature. The chair of the committee was the Deputy Director of the City Central Library after A. Isahakyan Ruzanna Barseghyan, while the members of the committee were the Deputy Director Karine Mehrabyan, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Events Marine Ghazaryan and poet, novelist, Liparit Sargsyan. The committee greeted the teams and wished them good luck. Team captains presented their slogans, team members and greeted each other and wish good luck. The participants enthusiastically answered almost all the questions. “Vahagn” and “Kilikia” teams reached the final. “Generation of Independence”, “Arpi” and “Usmunq” teams received certificates for participation. The chair of the competition was the actress Gayane Samvelyan.
