Aram Haykaz: Forgotten Pages Volume VII

    On July 4, 2016 the Yerevan City Central Library held the presentation of the book "Aram Haykaz: Forgotten Pages" Volume VII. The book contains articles, stories, analyses of novels and archive materials of one of the eminent representatives of Armenian Diaspora Aram Haykaz. The works included were written between 1976-1986. The presentation was opened by compiler and annotator of the book, PhD of philological sciences Margarita Khachatryan. She stated that she had two reasons to be excited: first, her new book was born, second it was going to be a medium to support the "Hearth of Hope" Union of Mentally Disabled Children's Mothers NGO. For this very reason the book was blessed by Fr. Shahe Hayrapetian. During the event some memories about the author were shared by writer, publicist, public figure, doctor Toros Toranian. Another speech was made by historian Gevorg Yazichyan. The audience had the pleasure to listen to two stories from the book read by expert in Western Armenian and Armenian Diaspora literature Kamo Der-Petrosian. Two songs were presented by singer, songwriter Arsen Hambarian.
