Book Presentation: "There is a special someone in this world"

On April 13, 2016 the Yerevan City Central Library held the presentation of YCCL librarian Svetlana Hakobyan's second book "There is a special someone in this world". The opening speech was made by the Deputy Director of the library Ruzanna Barseghyan. She mentioned that in her book Ms Svetlana Hakobyan has portrayed an Armenian woman who loves her family, her motherland, her children and her friends. Next the author was congratulated by her fellow librarians Violeta Minasyan, Gohar Manvelyan, Hasmik Shushoyan, Gohar Karapetyan, who mentioned; "Love plays a key role in all of her poems. All the pages of book are breathing with love. A love that you feel towards your country, your family, your friends and whole humanity. I admire your sense of maternity. It has grown so much that it has reached the level of prayer ".
One of poems of the book is devoted to Ms Hakobyan's co-worker Alina Petrosyan and it is entitled "The Thoughts of Freedom Fighter's Daughter". With huge sense of gratitude and admiration she thanked the author for captivating what she- the daughter of fallen freedom fighter- was feeling deep inside her heart. Alina was emotional but managed to read that special poem with much strength. Other poems were recited by the host of the event, actress Gayane Samvelyan. Ms Svetlana has written music for her poem "To My Child" and it was presented by YCCL librarians Susanna Azarian and Susanna Nazarian. The closing speech was made by the author herself. "First of all let me thank and bow before our solders , who managed to protect us during these tough days. I pray for those solders who had been injured and who stand on the borderline right now. Thank you, the audience, for finding time in this elusive life and being here. Thanks to those who read and who love poetry in our non-poetic and non-romantic times... The real happiness in life is when people understand you. And today I'm happy".
