New Year Celebration

    On December 22, 2015 the air in the YCCL was filled with pre-holiday mood. The guests of the Central Library were children of Armenian Beneficial organization "SOS- Infant Villages" from Kotaik and Ijevan, who came to Yerevan to be part of New Year Celebration. The host of the event Gayane' Samvelyan took the children to the world of wonders. The cheery mood doubled due to musical numbers performed by Zaruhy Babayan's song studio students Viola Asatrian, David Artashian, Monika Kirinian and others. The children were greeted and congratulated by the Deputy Director of the YCCL Ruzanna Barseghyan. The children promised to take her advice and to read more book to gain more knowledge. Armenian-Swedish Beneficial "Nunios" Organization Chairman of Board of Trustees Noushik Melikian congratulated children and thanked the library for support. She congratulated the sponsors of the event the President of "Saur-Sevan" organization Patrick Lauren and organization "Pepsi". Due to them children received New Year Presents. Children were greeted and congratulated by Patrick Loren as well. The excitement of children doubled when Santa Clouse entered the room. The New Year fairy-tale would continue for a long time for these children.
