Literary - Musical Matinee “Victory Bell Rings”

    On May 7, 2015 in the framework of the program “A Month of Peace and Victories” a literary - musical matinee “Victory Bell Rings” devoted to the 70th anniversary of Great Patriotic War and heroes of Nagorna-Karabakh War took place at the YCCL. The guests of this event were writers, Artsakhian freedom fighters Edward Khachikyan and Hovik Vardumian, publicist, writer Ruzan Asatryan, the Head of Arabkir “Yerkrapahner Union” Gagik Davtian, journalist, publicist, freedom fighter Hrant Amiryan, Vice President of Kentron “Yerkrapah Union's” “Young Defenders” club Ishkhan Aharonyan, Artsakh Freedome Fighter Gagik Shahverdyan and a group of young fighters. The Head of the YCCL CNCO Hasmik Karapetian congratulated all the guests and readers of the library on May Victories. The Host of the event, actress Gayane' Samvelyan read some works of Armenian writers devoted to Historical Victories of Armenian Nation. The whole program of the event was filled with musical numbers and video materials typical to the day. The speechmakers encouraged young defenders to be deserving descendants of their hero ancestors, to love and defend their country, to be worthy of being solder, always be brave and remember these words: “The land is kept safe only by blood ”.
