120th Birthday Anniversary of Sergey Yesenin

    On April 14, 2015 in the frame of the program “National Library Week” an event devoted to the 120th birthday anniversary of Sergey Yesenin took place at the 33th library branch of the YCCL CNCO after L. Motalova. The host of the event was the head of the 29th library branch Mairanoush Aleksanyan. Candidate of Philological Sciences Gayane’ Hakhverdian presented some interesting and less known facts about the life and work of Yesenin. Some poems were recited by the readers of 28th, 29th, 33rd and 36th library branches. A small theatrical performance, based on one of the author’s works was made the student of Yerevan State University of Theatre and Film Yerem Karapetyan. Musical numbers were performed by guitar player Tamara Atanesyan, singer Nvard Hovakimyan and songwriter Armine’ Harutiunyan. The final speech was made by Deputy director of YCCL Ruzanna Barseghyan.
