“The Making of Commemorative Forget-me-nots”

On March 17, 2015 the guests of the YCCL were the students of school № 114 after Khachik Dashtents. The children were there to make “Genocide Forget-Me-Nots”-the symbols of 100th anniversary of genocide, in the framework of the program “Ahead to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide”. They watched a video material about the symbolism of forget-me- nots. Then they read and wrote on their self-made poster the thoughts of Anatole France, Fridjorf Nansen, Armin Wegner, Henry Morgenthau, James Bryce, Johannes Lepsius and Valery Bryusov with self made forget-me-nots. Later, by taking a picture with the poster in front of the book exhibition “Remember, remind and demand… ”, they joined the Armenian claim procession.
