French Writers 22.03.2016

    On March 22, 2016 the Francophone Centre of the Yerevan City Central Library organized an event in memory of great French writers Jean de Fontaine, Charles Baudelaire and Henri Troyat. An opening speech was made by the coordinator of Francophone Centre Lusine Khachatryan. Next, the students of the Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Bryusov Mariam Manoukian, Mery Barseghyan and Lilit Gevorgyan presented the rich biographies of the authors. Later a performance based on the fables "The Fox and the Crow", " The Wolf and the Lamb ", "The Ant and the Grasshopper" by Jean de Fontaine were presented by the pupils of Kids' Club of the Francophone Centre. The director of the performance is Alla Torosyan.
