   Summary of the"Best Reader of the Year 2023" competition

 Within the framework of the "Children's Book and Music week" programe, at the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan took place "Best Reader of the Year 2023" competition. The winners of the competition, heads of branches, teachers and parents were present. Actress Gayane Samvelyan opened the event with a speech of greeting and appreciation, reading "Library Card", during which a video film dedicated to the Armenian Alphabet was shown on the screen.The acting director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan Ruzanna Barseghyan greeted the children. She deeply reflected on the greatest role of books, literature, and reading in human life, particularly in the formation and development of a young person. The guests of the event: singer-songwriter Arsen Hambaryan, novelist, public speaker, cultural expert Seyranuhi Geghamyan, children's writer, poet Satenik Ghazaryan congratulated the library with their warm and valuable messages.They handed out certificates and of course books. And the winning children made surprize and amazed the participants of the event with their musical performances, recitation, words of thanks and once again confirmed the efficiency of the "Best reader of the year 2023" contest.
