The Visit of the High School After Manuk Abeghyan

    On December 19, 2015 the YCCL hosted the 10th and 11th grade students of high school after Manuk Abeghyan. The Deputy Director and Armenian Literature teacher Karine Shitikyan and supervising teacher Mrs. Ghushchyan were presented with books to enlarge their class library. They had a short tour and were acquainted with the departments of the library. After that they were guided to the “Children's Literature” department and as it was great Armenian writer Hovhannes Toumanyan's birthday they watched a film devoted to him. Mrs. Shitikyan thanked the library for a worm welcome and for organizing such a beautiful day for children. She expressed the wish to continue the collaboration with the library and to keep the children in the center of cultural life with the help of different cultural events organized by the library.
