On February 25, the presentation of MihranGhazaryan's "Bitlis 1915" eyewitness book took place at the City Central Library after Isahakyan. The book is a memoir of an eighty-year-old man who witnessed the Armenian Genocide at the age of 13. The memoirs are special with the characters of three young women and two teenagers holding the spirit of struggle, who take revenge with their extraordinary self-sacrifice. The book has completely preserved the author's unique style and language. The presentation began with a video clip dedicated to the victims of 1915. The opening speech was made by actress Gayane Samvelyan. While talking about the book, each presented his or her own story. Editor and translator of the Russian version of the book, Laura Ghazaryan, historian Gevorg Yazichyan, MihranGhazaryan's daughter Julieta Ghazaryan, writer Anush Vardanyan, reader, engineer Rita Harutyunyan, YSU professor Gurgen Hovhannisyan, speaker Samson Harutyunyan, the director of the City Central Isahakyan Library, Honorary Worker of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan were present and gave a speech at the presentation.Actress Gayane Samvelyan read excerpts from the book,reciter Aida Asaturyan read "The Red Land" by DanielVaruzhan, who was a Western Armenian writer and one of the victims of the Genocide. The author's daughter Julieta Ghazaryan gave a thankful speech.
