    On 20 September City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan invited the fighters of the "First Regiment" of the Artsakh war in the frame of the activities dedicated to the Independence Day of Armenia. The generals of the Defense Ministry, high-ranking officers, military, and police officers took part in the event. Siranush Eghiazaryan made the openning speeches. There was the screening some parts of Hovhannes Papikyan’s movie «Vahan». The congratulatory and welcoming speech was made by Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Police Malatiya Spartak Amiryan, president of the Association of Veterans «the bats» Nver Galstyan, Doctor of Law, Professor, Lieutenant-General Eduard Maniev. During the solemn event the fighters of the "First Regiment" and major General Vachagan Chibukhchyan was awarded the orders.
