On August 27 the City Central Library hosted a meeting with Canadian-Armenian historian, culturologist, IT specialist, PhD Edik Baghdasaryan. Architect and historian Edik Baghdasaryan is as well as in Armenian history. He is the author and translator of more than 150 books and 200 articles about the Armenian history and culture. The director of the City Central Library, honored figure of culture of the RA Hasmik Karapetyan made the opening speeches. Philologist, historian, doctor of historical sciences, professor Vladimir Petrosyan, prose writer, publicist, freedom fighter Ovik Vardumyan, interpreter Emma Begijanyan, President of the Union of domestic producers Vazgen Safaryan, library specialist Rafael Ghazaryan, historian Gevorg Yazichyan warmly welcomed the author. Writer, singer, composer, engineer Arsen Hambaryan welcomed the audience with musical performances. Some patriotic poems were recited by actress Gayane Samvelyan. And then the audience watched the video about the author's publishing activity. At the end of the event, the author, summarizing the presentation, spoke about his literary activities and answered the questions.
