On May 26 was the presentation of honorary teacher and composer-conductor SevilAraqelyan’scollected songs in the hall of City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan. SevilAraqelyan is a music teacher at Armenian humanitarian seminary in Calcutta, India. Most of his songs are performed by the choir lead by the author. One of the author’s the best songs is the anthem of Armenian humanitarian seminary in Calcutta which is performed every morning by every pupil at the seminary. Many readers, cultural workers, intellectuals and guests from India were present at the event. The opening speech was made by Honored Worker of Culture of RA and the director of City Central Library after Av.Isahakyan Hasmik Karapetyan. Many other also spoke about the work done by the composer, among them writer and publicist HakobSrapyan, the teacher of the Armenian language and literature at Armenian humanitarian seminary in Calcutta Greta Andreasyan, writer, educator Valery Paranyan, writer, publicist, doctor and social worker TorosTorosyan and others. The author himself humbly presented the work he does in Indian and performed some works together with his choir. The choir praises Armenian music winning prizes and becoming the best choir in Calcutta .
