Louis Aragon-125

    On March 23, at the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan took place a lecture dedicated to the 125th anniversary of French writer and politician Louis Aragon.
The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by Mariam Khachatryan, a Head of the "Francophonie Center" of the Isahakyan Library.Luiza Hakobyan gave a lecture on the life and activities of Louis Aragon.The guests of the library were the pupils of secondary school No. 1 in Ayntap village, Ararat region.Then an interesting documentary film was shown, which provided valuable information about the life of Louis Aragon.A spontaneous discussion was organized at the end of the event.The children asked the speaker different questions about Louis Aragon,as well as about French literature.During her concluding speech, the Deputy Director for Science of the Isahakyan Library Karine Mehrabyan, mentioned the importance of the " Francophonie Days in Armenia" program.The Deputy Director stated that this regular event served its purpose, it contributed to the promotion of the literary-cultural friendship of the Armenian-French peoples, to the activation of the dialogue of the two civilizations.
