On May 27, at the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan took place a book's presentation entitled "At the End of the Snowmelt", dedicated to Armenian film director, screenwriter,actor and People's Artist of USSR Frunze Dovlatyan.
Co-authors of the book: Russian journalist, writer, public figure, leading researcher at the Institute for Political and Social Studies in the Black Sea-Caspian Region Valeria Olyunina and Armenian architect, journalist, painter, designer and film critic Pavel Jangirov. The event was opened with a warm word of congratulations of the director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan, emphasizing Frunze Dovlatyan's huge contribution to the development of Armenian cinematography. Hasmik Karapetyan highly appreciated the permanent place of the powerful talent Frunze Diovlatyan, as well as the touching image of Dovlatyan as a person.
The event was led by the Head of Russian Center Lilit Karapetyan.
Frunze Dovlatyan's son Mikael Dovlatyan; professor of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia Victoria Arakelova, Political scientist, Candidate of Philosophy Gharib Babayan,Mher Ghushyan, actress Arsine Navasardyan completed Frunze Dovlatyan's professional dedication, unique aesthetic-philosophical belief with interesting facts and memories.
Valeria Olyunina and Pavel Jangirov conveyed exceptionally valuable documentary information about Frunze Dovlatyan to the audience.
They expressed deep gratitude to the director of the City Central Library after Av. Isahakyan, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Karapetyan and the participants.
